One possible explanation is that its off-road prowess and enjoyable nature attract many enthusiasts. It’s just the right size in the middle, not too tiny or enormous, making it easy to maneuver in congested urban environments. However, it was not designed for city life, so don’t be fooled. The rough and ready Trailblazer is not refined enough to be used as a daily driver, as evidenced by its uncomfortable ride quality on paved roads and awkward handling. These are all areas where the Honda Ridgeline shines brighter.

There have been many years of sales for the Toyota Tacoma. Despite the grime it accumulates on the trail, the Tacoma’s rugged good looks remain undimmed. The Tacoma is not for you if you’re looking for a pickup truck with a plush interior. Standard, sturdy, but not luxurious materials are used. Upper-level trims offer leather upholstery for the seats but not the rest of the interior, leaving the plastic center console and doors to fend for themselves. Most models provide an electrically adjustable driver’s seat that makes it simple to find a comfortable driving position and the features’ controls are arranged in a way that’s convenient for the driver. There aren’t that many, and the infotainment system covers all the bases.
Although it has a total capacity of five people, the Tacoma is not an excellent choice for transporting a large family. Back seat passengers have as little as 24.6 inches of legroom in the Access Cab. The V6 has more power available, so it completes the same task in 7.7 seconds and the quarter-mile in 16 seconds. Its 8.2 second 0–60 mph time proves that the Tacoma is much slower than expected on the road. One annoyance is that the transmission frequently makes early upshifts and “hunts” gears. Because Toyota has not upgraded from rear drum brakes, pressing the brake pedal has the same effect as flipping a switch in heavy traffic. As a result, stopping from 60 mph takes 132 feet when using the brakes.
